Simply French is an independent, family-owned retail business that opened its doors in 2003. Since then it has evolved into a creative space inviting our customers to join a creative community where they can share, learn, discover and be inspired through our creative workshops and our range of home interior gifts, products and services, including the famous Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
Ball and Claw is in most of our homes in South Africa inherited from parents and grandparents . Using Annie Sloan is the perfect way to make it fit into our style of decorating . The best thing is we get to keep these sentimental pieces . And everytime we walk past them we think of Mom and Granny 🌿💚🌿

Annie Sloan Pure White has given all these dated pieces a completely different feel . Some natural wood and a little distressing keeps them warm and homely These are for the same home and there are more pieces coming to my studio in Bryanston .

My customer gave me freedom on this commission piece. I got to do my favourite technique Frottage 🙂. I used Annie Sloan Antibes, Florence , Arles and Oxford Navy .
