Ou Meul have been long standing customers of ours, as they have expanded their branches around the country. They have certainly changed the road travelling experience with their excellent food and bakery, whether you're grabbing one for the road or taking a longer break.

A rare still and quiet moment in the factory....

As men and machine clatter and chatter lines of furniture evolve. From frame to timber each piece is coerced into shape, finally finding its way into coffee shops, w**e farms and gardens, for a quieter life.

Evidence that our Bistro table is the choice of many hospitality venues. Available in two square sizes that can be pushed together to make a longer table - 800x800mm and 1000x1000mm. A longer version, 1500x800mm is also available, making it our smallest 6 seater, but will extend to an 8 seater with the extension of the 800x800 square Bistro table.

At first glance it appears that the Springboks are playing and then you realise that it's it has nothing to do with Green and Gold and everything to do with the colours of Torrö Island.
Sorry . Its debilitating been South African some times.

Ready for lunch are our Trestle tables and painted Park Chairs: Pond Green, Yellow and French Grey.

Adrian is infamous for the "follow your nose' navigation which at times gets him into trouble, but is mostly on target, like a blood hound. On a trip to Stellenbosch last week he remembered delivering some furniture to Waterford estate, yeeaaaarsss ago. His nose starting twitching and he guided me through the Stellenbosch roads until we finally arrived at the Estate. Much to his satisfaction! Winding our way through rows of clipped topiary we entered an entirely unexpected, almost secret world. On entering the premises we found our 2 Seater Park bench, which Adrian had delivered many years ago, looking beautifully weathered.
The staff were wonderfully accommodating of our snooping around. The vines, I have read, are hidden and can only be viewed via a tour.

if you're imagining a lion lurking in the background then you're a few lines of latitude out. Quite far out actually. A bit higher, all the way up to Torrö, an Island off the east coast of Sweden. Proving that you don't need a Safari lodge to enjoy our Origami Deck Chair.

The Irises in the garden are always enthusiastic about Spring. Some years it feel like their motto is - Coming, ready or not!
With some very cold weather in the rest of South Africa I'm sure someone of you are feeling the same.
As the days get busy our factory is less able to take on painted maintenance and replacement of slats, so if this is your requirement then let us know via our "request a quote form.' The sooner the better!
