Yeah…
I believe beautiful things are available to everyone. I was a young mother of two small children, an infant and a toddler, married to an executive.
We moved several times in a few short years due to his job. I loved every house, though each was quite different, and I wanted to create beautiful and warm homes… not just furnished houses. Naturally, raising a family, I was on a budget. However, I discovered through “treasure hunting”, flea markets, church sales, and secondhand stores there were worlds of beautiful things that I could afford! Adm

📚✨ Save the Date! ✨📚
Mark your calendars for the 55th Annual Mississippi Literacy Association Conference, taking place December 2–4, 2026, at the beautiful Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi!
This year’s theme, “Turn the Page: Transforming Literacy—One Page at a Time,” reminds us that every learner’s journey begins with a single page and every educator has the power to change a story.
Join educators, literacy leaders, and advocates from across the state as we gather to learn, collaborate, and share innovative practices that inspire literacy growth for all students. Together, we will explore new ideas, strengthen our collective impact, and continue advancing literacy across Mississippi.
Be inspired. Be empowered. Make an impact.
We hope to see all of you there! 📖🌟
