The Material Issue: Not a color story.
A material story.
Oyster shell. Cane. Raffia. Metal. Suede. Fringe.
The details we are choosing aren’t louder. They’re just more interesting.
A little texture catches the light differently.
A woven surface softens a room.
A fringe detail changes the entire personality of a piece.
And yes, fringe is having a moment. Well it never really went away.

From sketch to swivel.
The Alexandra Swivel Chair started as a drawing and turned into something you sit in once and immediately understand. Upholstered in bouclé with a dark wood base, the nubby fabric adds depth while the curved shape and generous seat make it hard to leave.
Made for reading corners, slow weekends, and saying just one more chapter.
Reading chair. Conversation chair. One more chapter chair.

We love a swivel chair. Deeply. Possibly too much.
Meet Poppy from Arteriors. Our new favorite accent chair that works everywhere. Dining room? Yes. Desk chair? Absolutely. Bedroom corner? Perfect. Living room floating moment? Exactly.
It has that sculptural shape that makes a room feel finished without taking over the whole thing. And the swivel makes everything feel a little more relaxed, a little more conversational, a little more “stay for another drink.”
Basically the chair equivalent of being attractive and having a personality.

Everyone wants an Alondra. And honestly… we get it.
The shape feels a little floral, a little sculptural, and the woven rattan keeps it from feeling too serious. It’s one of those rare lights that works just as well in a modern house as it does in a beach house or a relaxed casual space.
Plus the three color options make it dangerously easy to convince yourself you need one somewhere. Or everywhere. Shop the links on the slides 🤍
