I rescue driftwood & other unwanted woods, giving them new life as functional & nature inspired art.

Brought up a little bit of new driftwood to the studio today! How long do you think this will last me? 😁

Here's another sneak preview of what you might see this weekend at the Festival of the Little Hills (if you get there soon enough 😉).

This matching coffee and side table set is created from Ambrosia Maple I rescued from Forest Park while they were doing some woodland restoration, almost 2 years ago now. I filled the natural voids with black epoxy to match the metal "straw bundle" legs.

Find more information about the festival this weekend (Fri - Sun) at www.festivalofthelittlehills.com. Look for me in the Frontier Park section, just south of the Lewis and Clark statue.

Festival of the Little Hills in St. Charles, MO is coming up quickly this weekend and hopefully the weather forecast holds up! I'll be sneak previewing some new pieces I've been working on.

My last chunk of the historic giant St. Charles Elm I just created in a new piece for the festival. It can be a sofa/entry table or could be used as a vessel sink vanity. This piece had a large check which I filled with calcite crystals. The base is made from reclaimed oak and chestnut. Comes with a history book I designed that goes in depth on the history of the tree which once grew in downtown St. Charles. Last chance to own a piece of this St. Charles history!

If you know anyone with river property or say a campground affected by the terrible floods last weekend that may have a driftwood problem, please have them reach out to me. I may be able to assist with some driftwood removal that could be mutually beneficial.

I recently finished this custom jewelry cabinet for some amazing customers, using some gorgeous figured cherry (rescued from Bellefontaine Cemetery) for the live edge doors, face frame and top, and some red cedar driftwood for the corners and handles. Finished it out with soft close hardware and blue velvet lined cherry drawers.

If you'd like to discuss your custom project ideas, come visit me at the Green Living Festival Botanical Garden on July 11, or send me a message and /or make an appointment to visit my Lemp Brewery studio!
