Antique Barbour Silver Box.
Ornate silver-plated dresser or table box by the Barbour Silver Plate division of International Silver. The box is covered in silver plate with repousse and etched Renaissance designs featuring shells, acanthus leaves, garlands, bows and baskets of flowers. The interior is wood lined so it might have been a cigar box or humidor. Made in Hartford, Connecticut, late 19th C to early 20th C. 8-1/2" x 5-5/8" x 2-3/4"

Silver Crest Bronze Box.
Circa 1920 bronze box with sterling silver overlay of a galleon on the lid. The interior is wood lined. 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" tall.
Silver Crest was a trademark of the Smith Metal Arts Company of Buffalo, New York. Frederick C. Smith founded the business in 1919 with former craftsmen of the Heintz Art Metal Shop. They produced high-end bronze items such as humidors, boxes and desk accessories often with silver applique.

Twinings Blue Willow Tea Caddy.
Blue Willow pattern porcelain tea caddy made by Burgess and Leigh for Twining's Tea. This blue and white jar is decorated with motifs associated with the Willow pattern such as Chinese pavilions and willow trees. The ironstone jar has a tight fitting lid and an additional plastic cover under it to keep the tea inside fresh.

Vintage Blue Willow Condiments.
Matching oil and vinegar cruets and salt and pepper shakers decorated with the traditional Blue Willow pattern. The shakers are barrel shaped and the cruets have lids. These pieces were probably made in Japan circa mid 20th Century.
Cruets: 4" x 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" tall. Shakers: 2-1/2" diameter x 3-1/4" tall.

Orange Majolica Teapot.
Majolica Tea Pot shaped like a plump, ripe orange made by Bordallo Pinheiro in Portugal. The teapot has orange -kin texture with molded leaves and stems. It is glazed bright orange with green leaves and beige-gray on the handles. Bordallo Pinheiro has been making majolica type pottery in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, since 1888. 9" x 6" x 5-3/4" tall. Circa 1980.

Sterling Silver Revere Bowl.
Newport Silver (a division of Gorham) produced this beautiful reproduction of a footed bowl made by the Boston silversmith and patriot Paul Revere. Marked on the underside: Paul Revere/ Reproduction/ Circa 1768/ Newport/ Sterling/ 3136. 6" diameter x 3" tall.

View of the famous park looking northwest to the corner of Powell and Post streets. The Dewey Monument is seen left of center. Taking up most of the background is the old Fitzhugh Building (demolished 1979 to make way for Saks Fifth Avenue). The Sir Francis Drake Hotel stands behind it. Some 1920's model cars are int he foreground.
Numbered, titled and signed in pencil along bottom margin. Number 13 or 100.
Undated. The image was created late 1920s — 1930s. Framed in silver gilt wood with a gray mat. 14-1/2" x 17-1/2" x 1"

A lovely plein air autumn landscape by western New York artist Carl Illig. Illig had a keen eye for composition and a deft hand that brought scenes to life with clear color and spontaneous energy. Signed lower left and on the back. Framed in wide gilt wood molding. 20-9/16" x 16-9/16" x 1-3/4"
Carl W. Illig, is well known for his landscapes of every season. Aside from a correspondence course in commercial art he took as a young man Illig did not begin his artist's education he was in his forties. He studied with Arthur Kowalski in Buffalo and with Emile Gruppe in Gloucester. Massachusetts. He lived most of his life in East Aurora, NY, home of the Roycrofters.
