My Lilian decided last year that she wanted to be Medusa for Halloween after reading about her in a book. Looks like Heidi Klum who is almost as cool as Lilian chose the same theme!

Stay tuned for my next refinishing project! My first time ever working on anything Heywood Wakefield. I'm nervous but at the same time the fact that it is solid wood and no veneer allows for some mistakes, but with this product line I've discovered I'm not too worried. They specialize in products for HEyWake furniture to get that perfect creamy, opaque finish that we all know and love. And no, I'm not being paid for this plug, just excited to try it out.

Happy enough with the result of these Kroehler side tables! There was severe damage on the edges...chipped veneer, chunks gouged out revealing the underlying fabricated wood, you name it. I felt they were worth the challenge as the curved bases make these tables real gems! Sanded, used wood filler, stained and then painted repaired areas with matched wood paint. All in all a fun weekend project! Similar pairs are not easy to find and sell for over $1200. Hoping to get $500 for these puppies!
