Finally finished up my closet! Trying to improve my home while also trying to improve other people's homes is tiring, but so worth it for an outcome like this. With a mixture of long hang, short hang, and adjustable shelving, we have a much more usable space that is also beautiful. White oak herringbone flooring, and oak shelves add a warm touch and uniqueness to the space. Heavy-duty curtain rods ensure that no racks will ever fall again! Swipe for progress pics.







Could you use a beautiful closet upgrade in your home?

I'm not sure which was more difficult, getting decent pictures of this project or relocating the dryer vent to make way for the "secret hole". A laundry room remodel is on a lot of people's home improvement list and this one came together really well. Going from one wire shelf to shaker-style cabinets to the ceiling with a white oak countertop for folding is quite the upgrade.

Finished and delivered this beauty of a table a few weeks back. This table complements the bench I built for the same clients a while back. Provincial stained maple with an emphasis on having the most prominent figure on the top. With enough seating for 12 and enough storage for an army of kids' toys, this space is perfect for the whole family.

Kitchen face-lift on a budget! The client handled the hard work of removing the old dated doors, prepping and painting the existing boxes and I made and sprayed all new larger doors with a bigger overlay to give the space a more modern look. The hinges are all soft-close and the drawers were fitted with soft-close slides as well. New pulls were added throughout as well. This is a great way to get a "new kitchen" without having to shell out tens of thousands of dollars, especially if you like the layout you have.

Every board in this table was hand-selected, shaped, and joined with care — no shortcuts, no mass production, just craftsmanship and patience. The result: a walnut pedestal table built for slow dinners, loud laughter, and quiet mornings with coffee. A piece meant to be lived around, not just looked at.

Check out this new under-the-porch double gate. Because I work out of my 2-car garage, our porch collects things that would normally be in a garage. This gate was the perfect solution. Swipe for the inspiration and the before.

Wide, dark, and handsome is how I would describe this modern trapezoid-style table. Solid clear NC maple stained in Minwax "Espresso". With enough room for 7-8 people, this piece will be great for the holidays.

I also repair furniture! The original table top for this was broken in a move so I was tasked with creating a new one. Wide, clear 5/4 maple was perfect for this build, and with a classic grey stain, it matched the chairs really well. Thanksgiving will be a little more roomy this year!

I love building all kinds of tables, but mid-century modern styles are so much fun! They don't have particularly ornate features so they allow for the character of the wood to shine. The clients accompanied me to the lumber yard to pick out their own wood so they had a hand in the entire process as well.
