1926. A centennial ago this home was built in NW Portland with every interior detail. Each archway, mantel motif, casework moldings, and original hardware mostly in tact. I fell in love. I luckily was able to decorate and furnish it with a collection of my personal tastes. Mixing vintage 1970’s furnishings with Bavarian furniture from the late 1600’s while tying it together to create interesting, inviting, and thoughtful living spaces:

Our Sunroom is one of the smallest but most lived in spaces in our home. It packs it all in with a place to relax, play games, and soak in some rays with the family. Link in my bio for more about our home RUE

I might ramble on and on about my own design decisions of our 1926 home! Check out our feature in RUE Mag and hear me rambling on and on!!! It’s pretty fun…!

One of my favorite spaces in my home. Eclectic vintage Portuguese Chairs, -artwork paired with a print sourced at a neighbors estate sale! I awaited to find this original Italianate Murano glass chandelier I was on the hunt for! It took time to pull this space together. I had the vision, the inspiration and then knew exactly what to look for. It’s finally come together with the final antique from my parents. A late 1600’s Bavarian Ivory chest. The intricate designs of this ivory chest give some white lotus vibes as some@guests have pointed out…It makes for a great conversation piece!
This dining room feels like me. My style, my aesthetic. Original. And I love sharing that part of me with my guests.

Understated yet bold. Your entryway or hallway wall is the perfect canvas for your personal touch.

I was captivated by the original allure of the powder bath in our 1926 Tudor home in Portland's Kings Heights neighborhood. To maintain its charm, I kept the floating sink, flooring, and swan wallpaper intact. I then added dark woods, a vintage light fixture, and blue and white porcelain to evoke a sense of nostalgia. While some elements can't be recreated, I find joy in restoring the timeless character of a space during home remodels.

Throwback to one of my earliest projects. Designing a welcoming spot for Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood to come together over coffee. The staircase, with its playful wallpaper and penny tile risers, was a favorite design element.
