To the person who cleared out my booth Thursday: You didn’t just steal “stuff.” You stole from a mother of seven who works until she literally can’t walk some days to keep this business going.
My husband and my oldest kids are in the trenches with me—we build this, we curate this, and we do it as a family. Everyone in this community knows there isn’t a “fortune” in vintage; we do it because we love it. I give things away constantly to people in need because that’s who I am.
To choose to steal from a family business that is already grinding is beyond “trash behavior.” It’s predatory. We see you, the other vendors see you, and Portland is a lot smaller than you think!!

Headline: 🚨 VENDOR ALERT: THEFT AT TIP TOP VINTAGE 🚨
Keep your eyes peeled, Portland vendors. A “customer” decided to help themselves to my entire collection of costume rings, watches, and bracelets yesterday —and they didn’t stop at my booth. Several other vendors were hit as well.
If you’re a local shop or selling at upcoming markets, watch your jewelry displays closely. It’s a small community, and we talk. To the person who took them: we have descriptions/footage, and the community is officially on high alert.

Oh and I did the cutest little DIY and turned an old frame and some fabric scraps into the perfect ring display. 🥰

POV: You spend all day sourcing and fixing for others and finally remember your own space needs some love too. I took a timeout today to organize my vanity and restore my beautiful vintage lamp. This little corner of my sanctuary is officially back in order. The “shoemaker’s children have no shoes” struggle is too real sometimes!

NW Largest Garage Sale was a blast, but super overwhelming - not sure we'd repeat it. Grateful for the adventure!
