CJL Engineering wanted an environment built around how their teams already work, with easier movement between departments, open areas that bring people together, and quiet spaces for heads-down work.

Our team delivered furniture, flooring, and Falkbuilt Ltd. interior construction under one roof. Falk walls went up in nearly every room, with integrated displays, back-painted glass, and writable surfaces. Steelcase anchored the furniture plan across open workstations, private offices, conference and huddle rooms, touchdown stations, the cafe, and the lounge.

Falkbuilt walls installed far faster than conventional framing, holding a consistent finish room to room and taking real time off the construction schedule.

Congratulations to Pickering Associates on receiving the AIA West Virginia Merit Award for Achievement in Architecture for the Building 2000 Renovation at Momentive Performance Materials.

This project was a rebuild from the ground up, and the finished space is stunning! After a severe storm displaced Momentive's entire team, the challenge was to design a space employees would actually be excited to return to. They delivered exactly that.

Franklin was proud to be part of this project, and this recognition couldn't go to a better team. Congratulations, Pickering Associates!

For this downtown Pittsburgh financial office expansion, the objective wasn’t simply adding a second floor. It was about creating a workplace ecosystem that supports how people actually work today by balancing focus, collaboration, and connection.

By integrating flexible workstations, high-performance meeting environments, and a central café hub, the space was designed to adapt and support both individual productivity and team-driven outcomes. Enzo found the best seat in the house!

This month’s Franklin dog calendar feature stars Enzo, owned by Anita of Michael Baker International. Relaxed, happy, and clearly comfortable, he makes it easy to see what a well-designed space can do.

He’s pictured here with the Viccarbe Colubi Armchair, Season Sofa, Fedele Armchair, and Ryutaro Tables, all sitting on the Moooi Eden Queen Rug. The mix of color, pattern, and texture brings just the right amount of energy to the space.
