This week we attended a thoroughly enjoyable open house and tour of the recently completed headquarters for Canyon State Electric, a project our team (Justin Trexler and Chris Tarango) was proud to be part of. As Arizona’s premier electrical contractor, CSE plays an important role in shaping our state’s built environment. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with CSE on many projects throughout my career, so it was truly an honor to help bring their own headquarters to life.
Walking the space and hearing employees share how much they love it was incredibly rewarding. Creating environments where people feel energized, proud, and inspired to work is what makes this profession so meaningful.

You can imagine my delight when I received this handwritten note and pin in the mail this week, thanking me for volunteering my time as a mentor in the NEWH Martha’s Mentor Program. It’s just one more reason I love being involved with this incredible organization. Everything they do is thoughtful, intentional, and of the highest quality and it’s an honor to be part of a community so committed to education, mentorship and professional growth. As an added bonus, I made an amazing new friend in the process.

Started Friday morning (quite early) at the Accelerent breakfast.
Guest speaker Cam F. Awesome was equal parts funny and inspiring. Two quotes that really landed:
“If you can fail without being discouraged, success becomes inevitable.”
“Loss is an opportunity to gain experience.”
Both are powerful reminders that setbacks are not the opposite of success, they’re part of the process.
