Happy 17th Birthday to my first born, Connor Joe. You’re an amazing human being buddy. The oldest brother is always the toughest. Just remember it’s because you have the most influence and responsibility. You’re doing great. You have all the opportunity in the world, go and get what you want. I know you can do anything and I can’t wait to watch. It’s been one of my life’s greatest pleasures being your dad. I’m proud of you. Dad loves you and will always have your back.

I haven’t sat down without hearing ā€œdad watch thisā€ in 16 years and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Being a dad isn’t for the weak but it is my favorite thing in the world. Pro tip for new dads - become the guy you use to call when you couldn’t figure something out. Your children think dads knows everything, so figure it out.
Happy Father’s Day to all the real men out there not doing the minimum and being a present dad.
Dad so hard šŸ’Ŗ.

Christmas is hard! Being a single dad of 4 boys isn’t a walk in the park. The holidays make it that much tougher. The stress of shopping for thoughtful gifts, 10,20,30x over for each boy. The cost of living being ridiculous and having a single person income. Trying to be fair with gifts. Hiding gifts. Staying up all night shopping, putting things together, making lists, because it’s the only time you have to get things done without a kid on your back. Short tempers everywhere you go. Dont get me started on trying to figure out stocking stuffers. And so on and so on. All the while still keeping up with all the other responsibilities that fall on you.
Just want to go to my room, lock the door and climb in bed somedays. Just ignore all my lifes responsibilities. Pretend I never had kids for just a moment. But then I remember why I do it all.
1) My kids make my life amazing, they are my purpose. 2) To make christmas forever suck at their mom’s house by always outdoing her šŸ˜‚
3) I’m a man. Men just do what needs to be done.
Really I do it because I love to see the excitement and joy on their faces. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my sons happy. It’s 3 in the Morning, I just got done building everything and making sure everything was perfect for when they wake up and Im so excited to see the reactions.
24th is my Christmas this year. Hope it’s one they remember forever. Merry Christmas.

The greatest challenge in life and my favorite purpose is trying to turn these boys into successful young men ready to take on the world. I couldn’t imagine life any other way.
There is no love greater than that of a father for his son.
