Good news no breaks only pain

Help, I fell down 😭😭😭

Maybe it’s because I was raised as the oldest daughter (didn’t meet my big sister until I was 21), but I have high expectations for myself. So I feel like a failure for the last 18 months.
But I have to remind myself that after the hurricane, my dear friend and father figure died, and then Joanne‘s closed and then I got a concussion, and then I had a scooter accident, and then my thumb was almost ripped from my body as I was dragged across a driveway & I’m still dealing with the wounds & movement.
All while I’m working a full-time job and Mom to chew young kids and 4 dogs …..
So sometimes I have to remind myself that it’s OK to not be productive every single year


I haven’t finished a new piece from my vision since Nov 2024.
Luckily I’ve been working on a few repeat clients to keep my skills up & even challenge me.
I’m so mentally ready to get back to finishing pieces, but I’m only one person with a day job & two young kids.
Not giving up, it was just a rough year for growth.

Added wheels to one of my fabric holders so that I can actually access the fabric that I need 😆 
i’m working on various projects, but it’s hard to work when you’re environment doesn’t help so I’m trying to get a more functional workspace 🖤

There was a window in my wall. I could hear the glass. I tore off the drywall & removed the window. The rest of the wall is cinderblocks with drywall. So I made a box, then wrapped the box in insulation & installed where the window was.
