There is no perfect time to raise money.
For nonprofit leaders, uncertainty can make it tempting to wait. Wait for the environment to improve. Wait for donors to feel more confident. Wait for the “right” moment to move forward.
But your mission and the needs of the people you serve do not necessarily wait with you.
In pivotal moments, strong leadership means staying focused on the mission, continuing to build donor relationships and moving forward with clarity and purpose.
For almost 40 years, Kinetic has helped nonprofit leaders and boards navigate changing environments and complex fundraising challenges.
The perfect time may not exist. The right time is when your mission needs it most. 🎯

September may feel early to be thinking about year-end fundraising. It isn’t.
The strongest year-end efforts are built well before the first appeal reaches a donor. Now is the time to put the strategy behind your year-end campaign in place.
Before Q4 begins:👇
• Review giving history and identify donors ready for a larger conversation
• Segment your database so every donor doesn’t receive the same message
• Reconnect with lapsed and LYBUNT donors
• Identify compelling stories that demonstrate impact
• Build your communications and stewardship plan across mail, email and social media
December can be one of the most important fundraising months of the year, but success rarely begins in December.

Friday marked an exciting milestone for The Salvation Army - Springfield, MO as Major Amos Shiels and Major Cyndi Shiels celebrated the topping off of steel construction and invited community members to sign the final beam.
The new men’s shelter, warehouse and food pantry are taking shape thanks to generous individuals and corporations, along with a significant $2 million challenge grant from the Mabee Foundation. Together, supporters have helped raise nearly $15 million, with more work still ahead.
Kinetic was honored to celebrate this milestone with The Salvation Army and the community helping create spaces where neighbors will find nourishment, shelter and hope for years to come.

Donor hesitation isn't always a signal to move on. More often, it's an opportunity to build confidence, answer important questions and strengthen a relationship before asking for a leadership commitment.
