Remember those boring wire shelves that came with the house? The ones where stuff just kind of... piles up? Yeah. We don't do that here.

This Highlands Ranch client came to us wanting more than just a place to hang clothes. They wanted a space that actually worked—somewhere everything had a spot, and getting dressed in the morning felt like a treat instead of a treasure hunt.

We ripped out the old wire and designed a custom closet that flows, functions, and honestly? Feels like an extension of their bedroom. Because why should closets be an afterthought?

Now every pair of shoes has a home, folded sweaters have their place, and there's even room for their jewelery. No more piles. Just calm.

Today, people will be posting about flowers and chocolate. And don't get me wrong—I love both. But my favorite thing in the world is getting to build a business AND a life with my favorite person.

Caitlin, working beside you every day is the kind of dream I didn't know I could have. We measure twice (let's be honest - we measure a million times), cut once (and sometimes still mess up), and somehow still find time to make each other laugh in between all the sawdust. You make the hard days easier and the good days unforgettable.

Building cabinets with you is great. Building a life with you? That's the real deal. ❤️

Hey Colorado 👋 I'm Sandra, one of the faces (and hands) behind The WoodChick Colorado.

For the past 8 years, I've been hiding in my shop transforming piles of lumber into heirloom-quality cabinets and furniture for homes right here in our state. I figured it was time to properly reintroduce myself!

I build custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, bars—basically anywhere you need storage that looks this good. I also enjoy building custom furniture. Tables, benches, beds, barn doors.
