Here's something most people don't think about until it's too late: barstool height actually has a formula. 🪑
For a comfortable seat, you want about 9 to 13 inches between the top of your stool and the underside of your counter or island. Counter height surfaces (36") need a counter stool. Bar height surfaces (42") need a bar stool. They're not interchangeable!
Save this before you shop so you don't end up with stools that don't fit. 📐
