Haworth DesignLab pushed beyond a traditional showcase - bringing together 13 emerging designers in an immersive environment built for exploration and experimentation. In collaboration with Patricia Urquiola and Paved States by Sixtysix Magazine, the installation blurred the lines between exhibition, gallery, and retail concept.

The Power of Connection.

Consolidating teams into one expansive floorplate comes with real design challenges, namely how do you create energy and collaboration without sacrificing the visual and acoustic privacy people need to do their best work? Our team partnered with Equifax and Perkins&Will to furnish a mix of open and enclosed spaces, each supporting a different way of working, from heads-down focus to spontaneous collaboration. The project brought like-functions together into a unified floorplate designed to improve connection and enhance the employee experience.

Green has always been grand, but in recent years there's been a real resurgence, and for good reason. It's warm, calming, serene — the color most closely tied to nature, renewal, and balance. Studies on biophilic design keep landing on the same thing: green in a space lowers stress and helps people focus longer.
