A tiny closet sized kitchenette we built in a guest house in Embudo, a little town just south of Toas. We designed it to be as functional as it is elegant and to fit seamlessly with the cabinetry in the sitting room that it's just off of (see our last post). The shelving and frame elements ae all hickory hardwood and the detailing including the shop carved door pulls are black walnut. The door panels are made of linen.

It's always great to get a call back to build something new for a old client, especially when they are as lovely as this couple. They have a lot of books, and wanted to display them without being in the way so we came up with this shelving that is as minimal as possible while still jiving with the somewhat maximalist kitchen we put in a year or two ago.

We made this lovely set of shelves, cabinets, doors, and a little kitchenette (I'll post pictures of the kitchen next) for a house in Embudo south of Taos. They are built with mixture of hickory and walnut with shop made walnut pulls and linen panels for the doors, originally conceived so that we could hide a subwoofer behind them without hiding it's sound and then used throughout the project because they just looked so good.
