Did a thing last year and only got around to posting it now😅

We had the opportunity to spruce up the space down at Folk Yard using Marine plywood.
Wall Cladding, cabinets, open shelves, cutlery station and seat backing.

Raw plywood finishes doesn’t have to be rough
So you’ve never been, do drop by for coffee or wine, and come touch our wood too! From our round table tops to coffee bar counter, seat backing and walls!

Plus! They’ve outdoor seating where you can bring your fur-kids along!🐾

Tiny kitchens don’t have to be dull!

Marine plywood are usually very rough in texture and we get splinters a lot in the process of building things.
But you don’t have to!
All our plywood are finished smooth to the touch🧈 even the edges!

For this project, we built slide up windows that stay in place at any position.
No need for brute strength or power lifting here!

Also, our signature swing doors are paired with concealed door stopper. Definitely our go-to.

Soft close wooden lattice sliding doors are perfect for air flow and some privacy.
A room divider or foyer entrance; ventilation and separation.

Traditionally, they’re are made using solid wood or bamboo- but we have since found that plywood is a stable alternative.

You’d think the big bold grains of Sapele plywood wouldn’t show on window frames, but we’re glad they do.

We really love plywood!!
But not all plywood are the same!
So here’s some of the reasons why we love Birch.

Here at Snug we only use E0 plywood. Because we’re the ones building it- of course we got to take care of ourselves too!
