So happy to welcome a new batch of Ian Sanderson lampshades into the shop. I know some of you have been waiting for the ‘Quiver’ to be re-stocked for some time. Well they are here! And joining them, a new design made using the lovely ‘Petra’ fabric.
As always, I have these lampshades made in very small runs, exclusively for Mrs Bennet. There are only a few in each colour, in each size.

Back in Mrs Bennet after the long summer break back in Blighty, and pleased to introduce two of the most brilliant small British brands:
- The Braided Rug Company The Braided Rug Co | Jute Homewares & Tote Bags is based in Wales and I couldn’t resist bringing a big box of their fantastic colourful tulip baskets with me.
- Merry + Bright Merry + Brite based in Newcastle (where I travelled to meet my best and oldest friend) specialises in this fabulous vintage inspired enamel cutlery, sure to brighten up everyday eating and entertaining.
*Due to justifiably grumpy husband, worried about all the additional luggage I was forcing him to cart around, only limited stock of each currently available.

Nothing better than a day out at the County Fair! Tractors and cows, ice cream and c***r and dogs everywhere! Best in show all round.

There’s no better place in the world to be than the English countryside in the summer. And that’s where my family and I are headed. Meanwhile, my wonderful staff at Mrs Bennet will hold the fort, with reduced opening days for the next six weeks.
The shop will be open 11am to 6pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Back to usual opening just in time for National Day.
