This document verifies that the system complies to and reduces NOx emissions down to IMO Tier III level. However a Statement of Compliance (SoC) is not be confused with an EIAPP or a Type Approval.

Golden Arrow Marine The Golden Arrow Marine name has been associated with delivering the highest level of engineering service and support to the marine industry since 1935.

The possible NOx reduction on an average city passanger ferry is equal to 1000 Volkswagens.

The average city passenger ferry emits about 5000 kg of NOx a year, which can be reduced by 75% using STT Emtec´s SCR system.

The average 3 year old Volkswagen Passat diesel should emit about 1,5 kg of NOx per 10.000 km. If the Volkswagen really emits about 5 kg of NOx per 10.000 km, the increased NOx emission from 1000 Volkswagens will be equal to the possible NOx reduction from one ferry.
