Designed by Aires Mateus for BRANCA LISBOA, BICA combines elegance with lightweight design. It features steel legs encased in solid oak and a tabletop available in oak veneer, RMC, or Dekton stone—blending timeless materials with contemporary simplicity.

The R&B Dining Chair pays homage to Portuguese material culture. Presented here in fluorescent orange, the familiar Portuguese chair is given a distinctly contemporary presence, while keeping the proportions and character that define the original.

Inspired by the layered composition of a stereo system, the Stereo Sofa by Marco Sousa Santos translates the idea of different elements working together to create a richer whole. Individual modules, including backrests, armrests and ottomans can be combined into an almost limitless range of configurations, from a compact armchair to expansive lounge compositions.

A new chapter for a Lisbon icon.

For the renewal of Bica do Sapato Branca Lisboa developed bespoke furniture and contributed selected pieces from its collection, all designed by Marco Sousa Santos, as part of the reinvention of one of the city’s most celebrated dining destinations.

Led by architect Francisco Tojal and honouring the legacy of founder Manuel Reis, the project brings together Portuguese architecture, art, design and craftsmanship in a renewed dialogue by the river.
