Where my minimalist girlies at? 🤎
This bedroom was transformed into a calming retreat built on ease and simplicity. Designed around our client’s lifestyle and the way they wanted the space to feel.
This room had endured years of well-intentioned DIY projects that unfortunately caused more damage than improvement, so our goal was to strip away the textural and visual noise and create something timeless!
To stay within budget, we designed a custom headboard that elevated the existing bed instead of replacing it. We also added custom wardrobe + media cabinetry for smarter storage, improved the lighting with layered options, and incorporated a simple desk for everyday functionality.
Proof that thoughtful design isn’t about buying everything new. It’s all about making the right decisions for your individual space.

This project challenged me to rethink what a home transformation could look like.
The brief was to turn my client’s house into the retirement home of his dreams but with a few non-negotiables:
• No changing the flooring.
• No architectural renovations.
• We had to keep almost all of his existing furniture.
• We needed to showcase three decades worth of travel memorabilia and collected treasures.
• And we had a very limited budget.
Instead of starting over, we embraced what was already there. Through thoughtful space planning, paint, lighting, styling, furniture restoration, and a lot of intentional editing, we transformed the main floor into a home that feels warmer, more relaxed, and deeply personal.
This project is proof that good design isn’t always about buying more. Sometimes it’s about seeing the value in what you already have and finding a way to make it all work together.

This project is proof that don’t have to start over to create a beautiful home that’s uniquely yours. We worked with 98% of what the client already owned (and a super tight budget!) — and i’d do it again. 🤍 The main floor of this no-reno retirement home makeover is done. Next we go tackle the bedrooms!

Currently working on a retirement space filled with 30 years of travel, work, and stories. Every object and furniture piece holds meaning, and now it’s time to weave them into a space that feels cohesive, personal, and entirely his own. A challenge, but one I’m loving every step of the way!

Material Moment: Textured & Fluted Glass ✨ Privacy without heaviness. Designers (and clients) are moving toward reeder, fluted and patterned options for warmth and atmosphere. Functional, beautiful and quietly dramatic!
