Today marks the culmination of years of perseverance, dedication, and hard work. Through challenging coursework, countless laboratory hours, sleepless nights, and unwavering determination, the BS Electronics Engineering Batch 2026 has successfully reached this significant milestone.

This batch has not only excelled academically but has also actively contributed to the growth of the Electronics Engineering community through leadership, service, and participation in various initiatives that enriched student life and strengthened the spirit of camaraderie within the department.

As you step beyond the halls of the university and into the professional world, may you carry with you the knowledge, values, and experiences that have shaped you into the individuals you are today. The challenges you have overcome and the lessons you have learned will serve as the foundation for the opportunities that lie ahead.

The 4th year Electronics Engineering students from USTL successfully presented their research projects during the Final Defense held at F-208. The group of Rivera, Buella, and Bien presented their study titled “IoT-Based Module with Remote Controlled Safety Disconnection Mechanism” and proudly passed with minor revisions, showcasing their hard work, innovation, and technical knowledge. Meanwhile, the group of Sial, Arao, and Soriao presented ‘Rain-Adaptive Solar Panel Integrated with Triboelectric Nanogenerator’ passed and received recommendations for major revisions as they continue to further improve and refine their research study. Both groups demonstrated perseverance, innovation, and excellence in the field of Electronics Engineering, highlighting their commitment to academic growth and research development.

The researchers would also like to express their sincere gratitude to their advisers, Engr. Nikki Bunao and Engr. Emerson Reblando, together with the distinguished panel members and chair headed by Engr. Filomeno Plaza III, Engr. Aldrin Ante, and Engr. Emerson Reblando/Engr. Nikki Bunao. Special thanks are also extended to Engr. Filomeno Plaza III and Engr. Aldrin Ante from Bicol University – Polangui Campus for visiting and sharing their valuable expertise, insights, and constructive feedback that greatly contributed to the success of the defense and learning experience of the students. 💡📚

✨USTL shines at ElectroCup 2026 with multiple Championship wins and Podium finishes✨

On Friday, April 24, 2026, the IECEP-USTL Student Chapter joined the annual ElectroCup 2026 hosted by the IECEP-Bicol Student Chapter held in Ateneo De Naga University, Naga City, which lasted until April 26, 2026. 🔌⚡️🔋💡

After an electrifying weekend of competitive events and mind-boggling brain teaser challenges, the BSECE students of IECEP-USTL Student Chapter took home two 1st place finishes by Jude Ericsson B. Regorgo in both Sudoku and Speed Cubing events, as well as two 3rd place finishes in the Men’s 100m sprint by Jomar A. Porteros and Men’s Table Tennis Singles by Jude Ericsson B. Regorgo. ⚡️💡⚡️💡
