The new home promised to the family of Rene Clert “Bobet” Baterbonia may not have to remain empty for long.

CLC Marketing Ventures Corporation, a furniture manufacturer with operations in Davao City, has offered to donate home furniture to the grieving family following the announcement that they would receive a condominium unit from the National Housing Authority.

In a message seeking assistance in reaching the Baterbonia family, a representative who identified herself as Jo-an from the company’s Davao office said CLC was willing to provide the furniture needed for their home.

“Our company is willing to donate home furniture for the family,” the representative wrote.

The company said it learned that a condominium unit would be granted to the family and offered to furnish the property. It also expressed willingness to deliver the furniture to the family’s hometown should they prefer to use it there instead.

The offer comes after the NHA informed the family that it would grant them a condominium unit at Madayaw Residences along Sierra Madre Road in Bangkal, Davao City.

CLC Marketing Ventures Corporation is a Philippine manufacturer and distributor of metal-based furniture established in 1983. The company supplies furniture for homes, offices, public spaces, and other establishments and maintains operations in Manila, Cebu, and Davao.

Its Davao office is located at Erlinda Center along Diversion Road in the Buhangin District.

The specific pieces of furniture to be donated, their estimated value, and the delivery schedule have not yet been disclosed. Coordination with the Baterbonia family is also reportedly being arranged.

Once finalized, the assistance would help transform the housing grant from an empty unit into a home the family can immediately use as they begin rebuilding their lives following Rene’s death.
