Treasures of a Nomad are a collection of items that have each been once forgotten, discarded or lost, then found, re-imagined and are ready for a new home!

Experimenting with some 'stencils' that may or may not have been a curtain in their past life...

Tore the doors off this little cabinet and added a bit of much needed character. Now it's home to treasures galore!

This wall used to be wasted space... now add a bit of pallet wood and it's one of my absolute favourite places to sit!!

Maybe not as pretty as some of the others but it felt pretty good to give this gate a bit of a makeover... shed a few pounds and with a bit of paint she'll be good as new!

These three cuties had gone to their new home just in time for the Easter weekend. And sporting just the right colours for the occasion, might I add!

There is something I find so relaxing and therapeutic about calligraphy, and always love a bit of rustic decor, so of course I didn't hesitate when asked to make up this handpainted sign for such a joyous occasion!

I found this gorgeous chair back broken and thrown away, but saw potential in the beautiful curves and wanted to bring it back to life.
So it has been transformed and is now a unique and functional way to store and display accessories, throw blankets, towels..the possibilities are endless!
What do you think? Any other ways you've seen broken furniture reused as something else but still maintain function? I'd love to hear some ideas!

Another before and after transformation!
Can you think of any little sailors that would just love to hide their treasures away in here?
