FLOWER SLEEVES

Florists: please consider collecting your sleeves so we can reuse them!

We will happily pay return fright. Just contact us when you’ve got a bag/box full.

We use sleeves to protect the petals during the sorting, packaging and transport of our gerbera.

The greenhouse is giving moody vibes today under the bluffs!

We’re located at 1188 State Highway 30, just outside Rotorua.

Our shop is stocked with flowers, local eggs and dahlia bulbs.

Yes our gerbera grow in a geothermal heated greenhouse all year.

But just like your garden at home, production naturally declines during winter months due to:

- shorter days
- less sunshine
- more grey days
- chillier temps

Interesting fact: while most varieties of gerbera grow slower in winter, a few varieties actually grow better!

We’re doing everything to help production. This includes:

- washing windows to allow more light through
- monitoring and adjusting watering amounts
- being patient and letting plants adapt to natural seasonal shifts

Our gerbera are growing and orders are going out and the shop is stocked!
