Happy New Year! To kick off 2024, we are looking back on our ongoing collaboration with coffee roasters. First up, this High Street cafe and work space from 2012, which is now home to . A print designed in collaboration with Yolanda Hickman was inspired by the marbled lining of ring binders, playfully reinventing the visual language of a bygone era. Plywood stools with cork seats can be stacked into totem-like forms, the first of many custom stools we have designed for eighthirty.

We hosted tours of Claude Megson’s beautiful Rees House last weekend, thanks to Here Magazine’s Open Home. It was great to hear from Phil about the joys and challenges of being custodian of a mad masterpiece. We’ve been very lucky to have an ongoing involvement in the restoration and renovation of this house over the years, with a new bathroom added in 2017, and the skylights replaced in 2022.
