This is a great photo showing Nylonuts being used on marina rods and cleat bolts. In both cases Nylonuts act as a lock nut not only keeping the bolted joint secure but also rust free.

Test fitting of Nylonuts on my galvanised steel marina rods at the manufacturing plant.
The threads are standard M20 DIN size threads. No issues, no problems. This shipment of marina rods is heading to a marina in Auckland for their marjor refit project

WSP testing lab results showed around 3.2tonnes in tension test for M16 Nylorods using Nylonuts. More than enough for Marina applications. Nylorods and Nylonuts - the no rust solution

M16 Nylorods being test fitted with Nylonuts before they leave for New Zealand today. Should see them this week then into WSP Opus for testing.

New shipment of 1800 Nylonuts just arrived by FEDEX. Another 1200 pce arriving next week followed by 14000pce arriving by sea freight in August. That's 17,000 Nylonuts heading out to Marina projects in the North and South Islands in the next few months!
