Italia Settanta. One remarkable decade.

We are happy to be part of the exhibition “Italia Settanta. La creatività come antidoto. Arte Moda Design”, with three works from the Fragile collection.

Now on view at Palazzo Attems Petzenstein in Gorizia, until November 29, 2026.

From Alessandro Mendini’s Terra chair to Cini Boeri’s Abat Jour and Achille Castiglioni’s Servomuto, each piece reflects the freedom, experimentation, and energy that shaped Italian design in the 1970s.

A presence before a lamp.

With Moonlight, Ettore Sottsass reduces form to its essentials, creating an object that feels both sculptural and architectural. More than fifty years later, its bold silhouette remains utterly contemporary.

An exceptionally rare gem in the Fragile collection.

Like a brass origami

Built from simple geometries, this suspension lamp pairs truncated cone brass forms around a frosted glass sphere. Playful at first glance, its proportions, material contrasts, and meticulous detailing reveal the unmistakable sophistication of Angelo Lelii's design.

An exceptionally rare gem in the Fragile collection.

A small lamp with an extraordinary story.

Designed by Angelo Lelii in 1950, Stelline is among the most celebrated creations of Arredoluce. Also known as the "Kennedy" lamp, it owes its nickname to the pair gifted to the President of the United States, reflecting Lelii's long-standing fascination with the USA and its culture.

An exceptionally rare gem in the Fragile collection.

Blooming light.

Neither just a wall lamp nor a sculpture - with Dalia, Gino Marotta transforms a familiar botanical form into a luminous presence for the wall.

Designed for conviviality.

From the elliptical jacaranda shelves to the carefully positioned openings for bottles and glasses, Idra reflects Ico Parisi's ability to elevate everyday function to a refined architectural gesture.
