GraceFirewood.ie is a company based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary which specialises in supplying Kiln Dried and Air Dried firewood logs directly to the customer. Managing director Barry Grace has been operating the family business for over 5 years.
“We process an average of 5,000 tonnes of logs per year providing a year round supply of high quality firewood and kindling”, says Barry.
Grace Firewood source logs and stack them for at least a year prior to processing. They are then processed into firewood and stored in sheds where they dry further. Only then are they fit for bagging and selling to the public.
All deliveries are placed on a pallet and this allows your driveway to remain uncluttered and free of mess.
We recommend a mixture of hardwood and softwood together to make a warm glowing fire, simply because softwood such as Spruce logs burns hotter and faster than hardwoods e.g. Ash/Beech.
This mixture compliments each other very well to prolong the flame and gives the greatest heat in both open fires and wood burning stoves. However, both types of firewood are equally impressive on their own.
Regardless of which one you opt for, with the help of our kindling to start the fire you will have a warm glow in minutes!!!
