Joop Duyn is a master cabinet maker with over forty years experience in cabinet making and furniture restoration. Furniture Conservation and Restoration course at the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology - Letterfrack campus in 2007. Together we understand the sentimental value of furniture to its clients and try our best to respect this, offering a huge range of services together with a profession

Class of 2026 - Another successful Marquetry workshop as part of Kenmare Arts Festival.

Many of the participants never attempted any such skill so after 3 hours to produce a completed piece is highly commendable.

Before & After - Boxwood conch shell marquetry. Consolidation & restoration.

The original finish had degraded and turned a greenish hue, cracking and delaminating. Gentle cleaning and re polishing was required to bring the colour back to this piece.
