CALIMA-ECO (Calimatreefree Calima Baumfrei Calimasinarboles) is a team of four entrepreneurs who want to have a positive impact on the planet by creating unbleached sugarcane paper made in Colombia.

The notebook's tree-free unbleached paper is made from 100% sugarcane, a crop harvested all year round in the Cauca Valley, Colombia. The paper is manufactured using the fibers of sugarcane bagasse, the waste from the renewable sugarcane plant leftover after using the plant to make sugar.

The team at CALIMA saw that people consistently use paper but want to avoid it because it comes from trees. With the CALIMA®️ NATURAL PAPER, used in the CALIMA®️ NATURAL NOTEBOOK, there is now an eco-friendly option and CALIMA-ECO envisions their products will be sold in every bookstore.
