今次想介紹的是"土耳其藍眼":
邪眼尚有惡眼、惡魔之眼等多種稱呼（土耳其語：Nazar Boncuğu），是在土耳其及鄰近區域常見的一種防止嫉妒力量（即邪眼本意）的護身符。

世界上許多國家與區域廣泛有著「由嫉妒而生的邪眼會產生詛咒，帶來惡運、疾病與死亡」的民間信仰，土耳其也是其中之一。許多人會將許多匪夷所思的災厄歸咎於邪視的詛咒，並相信對抗邪視的方法就是掛上「邪眼」以毒攻毒。

邪眼的表現形態因地區的不同而有相當大的差異，在土耳其的邪眼是由數個（通常為4個）類似同心圓的圓形所組成的眼睛。在配色方面，傳統上採用藍白相間的設計，所以有「藍眼」的別稱；此外也有第二內圈為黃色的邪眼，近世由於裝飾用途的需求增加，所以也有各式各樣新的色彩組合出現。在材質方面，避邪用的邪眼通常使用較易碎的材質製作，例如玻璃，因為當地人相信邪眼會對抗與吸收邪視所帶來的魔力，一旦邪眼破裂，即表示邪眼發揮了避邪效果，人們會掛上新的邪眼代替。

在土耳其，邪眼常被懸掛或彩繪在房屋的牆壁與交通工具上，許多人身上也會配戴邪眼樣式的項鍊、手鍊等飾品，因為十分常見，而且造型特殊，對觀光客而言是相當具有地方特色的圖騰，所以土耳其的邪眼也成為土耳其文化的象徵之一。

关于Hamsa hand，在阿拉伯语中叫作“The Hamsa Hand”，在希伯来语中叫作“Hamesh Hand”。阿拉伯文化中，这个图案的含义是“Hand of Fatima”，Fatima（法蒂玛）是先知穆罕默德的女儿，她是阿拉伯传说中的月女神，相传她的手可以治愈信徒们的一切疾病。所以Hand of Fatima在阿拉伯文化中是保佑平安、祈求健康的一个符号，阿拉伯人喜欢制作这个形状的金银饰品佩戴，作为他们的护身符。

The hamsa hand (Arabic) or hamesh hand (Hebrew) is an old and still popular apotropaic amulet for magical protection from the envious or evil eye. The words hamsa and hamesh mean "five" and refer to the digits on the hand. An alternative Islamic name for this charm is the Hand of Fatima, in reference to the daughter of Mohammed. An alternative Jewish name for it is the Hand of Miriam, in reference to the sister of Moses and Aaron.
The hamsa hand appears both in a two-thumbed, bilaterally symmetrical form, as shown, and in a more natural form in which there is only one thumb. There is good archaeological evidence to suggest that the downward-pointing protective hamesh / hamsa hand predates both Judaism and Islam and that it refers to an ancient Middle Eastern goddess whose hand (or v***a, in other images) wards off the evil eye.

Getting started: Sh**ha set-up
1. Fill the glass sh**ha base or vase with water so that the end of the metal tube is submerged about an inch.

2. Wet the rubber grommet on both sides and slide it into the base. Then shove the stem of the sh**ha into the grommet in the glass base where it should make an airtight fit.

3. Place the metal tray or plate on the sh**ha stem.

4. Fit the sh**ha bowl on top of the metal stem with a fitting rubber or rubber-like gasket in between.

5. Blow through all of the hoses before each smoking session to clear out any smoke residue.

6. Plug the hose(s) into the sh**ha stem. Make sure the connection is airtight, use additional gaskets if necessary.
