General information
• The mooring security is visually checked (subject to weather conditions) once / twice a week. This check includes the integrity of the mooring, lines, fenders and for any gross damage such as might occur if the vessel has been struck by another, vandalised or otherwise damaged.
• Monthly the vessel is opened up and the interior and bilges are checked for ingress of water. The engine is run up if necessary, to maintain battery charge. The engine is checked for satisfactory operation and fuel/ oil leaks. The vessel is aired at this time.
• In the event of any particularly adverse weather conditions the vessel’s condition is monitored as far is as reasonably practical and any necessary emergency measures such as placing additional warps, re-anchoring or pumping out will be carried out if deemed necessary.
