Metsovo is a traditional mountain town in the Pindus Mountains of northern Greece. It is famous for its well-preserved stone houses, cobbled streets, and rich cultural heritage. Visitors can experience authentic local traditions, taste famous products such as Metsovone, and explore local crafts, wineries, and folklore that reflect the town’s long history and mountain lifestyle.

ESN Ioannina Trip to Anilio & Metsovo 🏔️

Join ESN Ioannina for a winter getaway to the mountains! We will depart at 09:00 and head to Anilio Ski Center, where you can enjoy skiing or other snow activities while taking in the beautiful alpine scenery.

Later, we will visit the traditional town of Metsovo, where you’ll have free time to walk around, grab lunch, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We will arrive at evening (possibly around 17:00)
