Sometimes everything just goes to s**t.
You’re knackered.
Training has disappeared.
Food is whatever you can find.
Your brain has 47 tabs open.
And every piece of fitness advice seems to be telling you that what you really need is to get organised, meal prep, hit your steps and establish a fu***ng morning routine.
Absolutely not 😂
So I made something for those days.
Everything’s Gone to S**t 💩
A completely free, no-bulls**t little survival guide for when looking after yourself feels like another job.
There are 5, 10 and 15–20 minute movement options you can do at home.
There’s the f**k-it sandwich.
There are instructions on how not to be a dusty bitch.
There is optional screaming.
There is absolutely no requirement to “get back on track”.
Just pick something you can manage.
Do that.
It counts.
It’s completely free.
Grab it from the link in my bio 💩

Yesterday I made a fu***ng commitment.
To my rock.
My biggest fan.
An absolute rock star.
A commitment to do whatever it takes for us to be happy for the rest of our lives.
And it got me thinking.
We make these huge commitments to other people so freely.
To love them.
To look after them.
To stick with them when things get hard.
To forgive them when they f**k up.
To keep choosing them.
But what about you?
What commitment have you made to yourself?
To look after the body that’s carrying you through all of this.
To give yourself enough food. Enough rest. Enough movement.
To stop punishing yourself every time you don’t get it right.
To speak to yourself with even half the kindness you’d give someone you love.
To keep showing up when things get messy.
To forgive yourself when you f**k up.
To keep choosing yourself too.
Because this is the longest relationship you’re ever going to have.
You don’t need to promise yourself perfection.
But maybe you owe yourself a fu***ng commitment. ❤️

You spend your whole working life waiting for retirement…
More time to travel.
More time with family.
More time in the garden, out walking, looking after the grandkids, going places and actually doing the things you never had time for.
But getting the most out of retirement also means having a body that lets you enjoy it.
Being able to get up and down from the floor.
Carry your own shopping or suitcase.
Walk all day on holiday.
Keep up with the grandkids.
Feel confident on your feet.
Stay independent for as long as possible.
That’s where strength training comes in.
And no, you don’t need to have spent your life in a gym to start.
You don’t need to be fit already.
You don’t need to know what you’re doing.
And you definitely haven’t “left it too late”.
I’m starting small group strength training sessions in Wrexham specifically for people who want to stay strong, capable and independent as they get older.
Because retirement should be about having more time to live your life, not finding out your body can’t keep up with your plans.
If that sounds like something you’d benefit from, drop me a message 😊

Meanwhile, your metabolism:
“Yes.” 😂
Turns out biology, chemistry and physics are all allowed to exist at the same time.
Who knew.
Anyway, I’ll be over here explaining things in whatever way helps my clients actually understand them 🔥
