My lovely customer commissioned a chest of drawers from us 10 years ago.(!)...she still loved the furniture but it didn't match her decor any more so she asked us for a revamp...
We stripped it back, painted it black and decoupaged with this gorgeous metallic Trailing Orchid paper from Osborne & Little
What do we think of the transformation?

How good are these cupcakes made by my very own Rebel-Star??? 😍

These were made especially for a friend’s birthday and I honestly think they are AMAZING! The detail on the flowers, the colours and those gorgeous little butterflies… I mean, look at them! 🧁

We all know him for making his incredible painted punk jackets, but I think he may have just discovered another hidden talent! 😂

So… who thinks he should start making these professionally??? 👀

I reckon there’s definitely a market for punk jackets AND fancy cupcakes! 😂❤️

10 years ago today, whilst on holiday in the South of France, I found a lump in my breast.
Probably the thing that saved my life was the fact that I was wearing a bikini with absolutely no support. 😂 I put my hand on my chest and there it was.
Luckily, I caught it early, although it was fast spreading, so I had to have two lumpectomies to make sure they got it all. Then came 6 months of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, injections and, eventually, 10 years of Tamoxifen.
I also gave up booze in 2019, just to give myself the best possible chance.
And here I am, 10 years later, having just run 19k in preparation for the Great South Run. I honestly feel fitter and healthier now than I did 10 years ago.
I remember going to a talk called Demystifying Chemotherapy, which was actually quite frightening. The nurse told us that our lives would never be the same again.
That was absolutely the opposite of what I wanted to hear.
But actually, she may have been right.
The shadow of cancer never completely goes away. It’s always there somewhere in the back of your mind. But my life is different now, and in so many ways, I’m happier, healthier and stronger than I was 10 years ago.
So to anyone going through it right now, I feel you. ❤️
I hope this gives you even the tiniest glimmer of hope.
