St Martins Care has been selected as a regional finalist at the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2026.

It’s a wonderful achievement and a proud moment for everyone across our team. We’re looking forward to heading to the awards ceremony at the end of this month and celebrating with the other finalists.

Listening to music can really help improve quality of life, it can help reduce anxiety, help maintain speech and language and can have a positive impact on someone.

Residents of Windermere Grange Care Home enjoyed a sensory afternoon with the Party Boppers.

Residents awakened their senses by listening to music, feeling different materials, using the smell of lavender and seeing different coloured lights. 🎶🍁

On Saturday residents and the team visited Harry Ramsdens for fish and chips, everyone throughly enjoyed their delicious meal. 😋🗼🧳🏖️🍁

Residents and the support team enjoyed a walk to see the world famous Blackpool Illuminations, it was a beautiful evening and they loved seeing all the lights.🗼🧳🏖️🍁

They have an itinerary packed full of fun things to do and see.

On Friday they settled into their hotel, had a lovely meal and joined in the entertainment, there was a live singer and disco! A fantastic evening had by all. 🎶🗼🧳🏖️🍁

We’ve extended our donation deadline.

Windermere Grange Care Home would like to support Maxi's Mates Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

We are looking for donations of dog food, toys and blankets to support the centre.

Any donations can be dropped off at the entrance of the home and we will arrange the delivery to the centre.

Please can all donations be dropped off by 9th September 2026.
