Do South is the first store of its kind to open in South London. Back then, Crystal Palace was known for its antiquities and second-hand shops.

as tired; nobody was interested in Crystal Palace. Freddie changed it. He could have done this anywhere, but he cares for Crystal Palace. He is now part of the fabric. Do South is absolutely known for what it is on this high street. It’s different from anything else. This is what people tell us time and time again. The community embraced it, customers told Freddie that house prices were going to go up, other shops opened after Do South and our presence absolutely influenced that. More shops have now come in, new bars, new restaurants, they raised their level and this one space helped create a scene of pride in this community that wasn’t there before. Since its inception Do South has established itself as a vibrant part of London’s design scene. In 2016 and 2018 it was cited by the Evening Standard as one of the top interior showrooms in the capital. Why would you go to Freddie to create your perfect home? Freddie brings balance to a space. He'll reclaim things, keep existing things, whether it be the furniture that looks great that could still work within the new scheme or some of the old flooring that was taken up but we could use it somewhere else in the space. Or doors that could be dipped and stripped. His focus is always on the best style for the space. Freddie also brings heart and soul. If it’s not there, he’ll bring life and love back into a space. This isn't just wanting to make a statement with a project, he genuinely cares. Our location in Crystal Palace is highly convenient for style-conscious homeowners in Dulwich, Sydenham, Beckenham and other surrounding areas. Our 100m² showroom with its wide open view windows showcases the finest examples of contemporary Italian, Spanish and Danish living and dining furniture alongside iconic re-upholstered sofas and armchairs of the 50's, 60's & 70s, all brought up-to-date in the latest fabrics.

Up on the roof and what an amazing view! The sheer scale was incredible and exciting. We found bee hives underneath the tiles. Do South’s helped to restore this house back to its former glory. Every project starts with a conversation. Would you believe the conversation started from discussing a wallpaper finish in Do South to undertaking a major building project. Feast your eyes on the scale of this project over 5000 sq meters. Imagine, having to bring this up to a modern standard, no problem for our creative director it’s one thing talking, it’s all about action speaks louder than words!

Freddie oke and Do South were approached to help a private client with the redesign of a double fronted Victorian house. Freddieoke_ our creative director assembled a team of Architects, builders and specialist contractors to reinstate the house back to its former glory.
