It's so beautiful to see the sunlight creeping in through the windows, highlighting these beautiful rug details. Proof that our rugs are just as important in the summer when they take on a whole new persona ๐

This vintage rug is making me feel happy - pictured here enjoying the sunshine, and will bring a pop of warmth and colour inside to any space. This picture is also making me feel very pleased that I've finally found some time to start repainting our garden fence, which was previously a very flakey and slightly offensive tone of baby blue! ๐

Texture over colour. Craft over mass production. This is what 100% natural wool feels like underfoot - hand-knotted in the Atlas Mountains, one of a kind ๐ค

It's another S L O W S U N N Y S U N D A Y (finally!) and here's a suggestion of how to spend yours - pottering about with nice produce and nice pottery... Wishing you all a slow and fruitful day! ๐๐

This week our large pots have been flying out the door - each piece individually sourced on our last trip to Marrakech. We still have a few sourced vases available online, as well as this incredible premium antique rug which is large scale and well proportioned at 300 x 208cm, with a softly beautiful abstract design in cream and grey, with an almost silk like wool finish.

This is what happens when two rugs are used within the same space - layers of texture, pattern and colour that feel deeply personal rather than designed. Both pieces are one-of-a-kind, hand-made by Berber artisans in Morocco. No two are ever the same - which is exactly the point.
Pictured here alongside some of our incredible large floor vases - all available online ๐

S L O W S U N N Y S U N D A Y S // My love of Rif pottery - The antidote to mass produced, each piece has soul and character with their haphazard charm, wobbly lines, irregular burn marks from the traditional kilns, and rustic materials found from the land in the Rif mountains where these are made by Berber women in a tradition passed down through the generations ๐ค

Sun Worshipping // With our stripe vase, handmade in Morocco with clay and natural pigment found in the local surroundings. Traditionally fired in a wood kiln and unglazed, these pieces have a beautiful earthy quality and rustic charm ๐ฉต
And a reminder that we have 15% off all Interior Objects and Table Top pieces until midnight today, using the code SUNNYDAYS at the checkout!
