Early concepts captured on paper, and miniature balsa wood models, these are the shelves of our studio: the embryos of ideas.

A place where people, prototypes and pieces in their final form live and work in harmony, this is our everyday studio world and we love it.

It’s in Copenhagen this week, and a selection of our lighting is on display at Tempus, an exhibition hosted by Danish cabinetry designers

In a city celebrated for its beauty and design, and with ‘Make this moment matter’ as this year’s theme, Garde Hvalsøe’s presentation explores longevity in design, so we were thrilled to be invited to contribute. Styled by the brilliant creative .vest, a selection of our lighting pieces sits happily amongst furniture by friends , local craft and vintage objects.

Come and view a curated collection of our lighting designs at the Garde Hvalsøe showroom throughout 3 Days of Design and beyond, or explore the edit via the link in the bio.

Find us at Garde Hvalsøe showroom, Esplanaden 8D, ground floor, 1263 Copenhagen K.

Inspired by the intricate folds of a couture underskirt, our new Anders column wall light offers a svelte, vertical serving of the original Anders wall light's gentle drama.

Draped around a streamlined central fitting, its elegant plant fibre exterior emits a mood-enhancing glow when illuminated and soft tactility when left unlit.

The latest design to join the wider Anders lighting family, the Anders column wall light is now available to pre-order via the link in the bio.

Elaborate solo salads, or Zuppa Toscana with friends, chilled reds and conversations that unfold into the early hours, seated around the Onis' timber curves. Summer evenings well spent.

Defined by its scalloped fabric-covered fins and solid-timber tiered edging, our new Ellery bedside table invites both softness and warmth through its organic form and gentle detailing.

Refined in silhouette, Ellery brings elegance to sleeping environments, with its timber top and 2 deep drawers offering objects space for safekeeping and adornment.

Made at a specialist workshop using FSC-certified European oak, Ellery’s plant fibre covering can be customised in a number of colourways, though we have available stock of the natural-toned option pictured.

Explore the Ellery bedside table as part of ‘First Light’, our new furniture and lighting collection via the link in the bio.
