Welcome to Coach House Interiors Coach House Interiors is the family run business founded by Allen James and his wife Daphne.
It all began in 1956, when Daphne started a 5 year apprenticeship as a seamstress and upholsteress at Cavendish House, Cheltenham. 2 years later, Allen began his 5 year apprenticeship in all aspects of the soft furnishing trade. In 1963, Allen and Daphne decided to become self employed. They set up their own workroom and began to work for private and contract customers under the name of D&A James.
