November 2022 - This guild apparently tried to take flight out of a second storey window despite the owners objections. Glued it all back together - loose braces and all, reinforced the side crack with some aeroply and touched up the side with furniture markers before giving the broken areas a couple coats of satin lacquer to keep the feel consistent

August 2022 - This 80's les paul custom had damage to several binding nibs making it uncomfortable to play. Melted some new binding down to rebuild, shape and polish up

September 2022 - a Faith that a previous glue joint had failed. Cleaned out, re glued and added some short splines across the break for extra clean glueing surfaces

October 2022 - This gibson custom shop 54 Custom had a lot of crazy mods to keep it in tune with a bigsby and subsequently needed to be reversed, still kicking myself the binding went out of alignment but was a success functionally

Clearing out my backlog of photos - June 2022 refret on a Japanese fender neck, I never got to do the final assembly but sent it well on its way with the wiring and installing the bridge for the owner to finish it up

Never a good sign when you can fit a train ticket into the heel - this 1975 Gibson J-160E neck had become loose requiring removal (battling the worlds toughest and gummiest glue) rebuilding the joint and refitting it. After it was back together the owner opted for new frets and I took the opportunity to try rebuild the binding nibs with melted binding, came out looking (aside from some lacquer separation on the heel), playing and sounding fantastic

Not everything is fun refrets and headstock breaks, most of the time it's restringing, and sometimes you get something in a delightful shade of pink to put fresh strings on
