🏢 Improving fire safety across South Lanarkshire
After three and a half years of dedicated work, CCG has completed its £10m fire door replacement programme for South Lanarkshire Council.
✔️ 4,000 fire door sets
✔️ 1,700 residences
✔️ 20 high-rise apartment blocks
✔️ Communities supported across Cambuslang, East Kilbride, Rutherglen and Hamilton
Every door was fabricated by our specialist CCG Manufacturing division before being installed by CCG Asset Management, our planned maintenance experts — a complete end-to-end solution that will help to safeguard the lives of tenants and emergency personnel in the event of a fire, while enhancing security and each home’s long-term performance.

Planning submitted for new homes in… 🧐👇
Planning has been submitted for a new affordable housing development in Glasgow’s East End.
Anson Street sits within the Bridgeton Conservation Area, close to several landmark buildings.
The design proposals respond to this context through a contemporary interpretation of traditional tenement features and proportions, delivering up to 44 new homes for affordable rent, alongside a community garden that will be developed in partnership with the neighbouring Glasgow Women’s Library.
Designed by MAST Architects , the project - if granted approval - will be led by CCG (Scotland) on behalf of Thenue Housing.

CCG Group Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Manager, Andrew Blair, recently paid a visit to Riverbank Primary School in Glasgow’s East End to share information on the delivery of Athletes’ Village Phase 2 - a new affordable housing development for Thriving Investments located just a few streets away from the school, and one of two currently under construction by CCG in the Dalmarnock area that will deliver a combined 231 mixed-tenure homes.
Andrew has been with CCG for 25 years, so the presentation was very much centred around his experience in the construction industry, offering pupils a unique insight into how we set up and manage a construction site while highlighting the wider benefits housing-led regeneration can bring to the local community.

The scenic village sits on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond and remains an enduringly popular tourist destination. However, its beautiful yet challenging landscape has long presented barriers to new residential development, particularly affordable housing – a need which Rural Stirling Housing Association and CCG (Scotland) are addressing through community-based collaboration and offsite Modern Methods of Construction.

🤝 CCG is a Fife Gingerbread Dragon
On Tuesday, CCG was delighted to take part in Fife Gingerbread’s Lone Parent Positive Workplaces (LPPW) initiative. As a Gingerbread Dragon, we are helping shape a framework that will support employers to attract, retain and support lone parent talent while creating more inclusive and accessible workplaces.
As part of the initiative, members of Fife Gingerbread were welcomed to CCG HQ for a one-off interactive session, where key elements of the LPPW Framework were explored by a group of senior leaders from across CCG. Together, we shared practical feedback to help ensure the framework is relevant, effective and works in a real-world business environment.
CCG’s participation forms part of a wider programme of community-based initiatives that we will deliver alongside the construction of two new residential developments for Fife Council Council in Dunfermline and Lochgelly, creating opportunities for local employment, training and investment.
It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other organisations, share ideas and contribute to an initiative that aims to remove barriers to employment and create positive change across the region.
A huge thank you to Fife Gingerbread for inviting us to be part of such an inspiring initiative. We look forward to seeing the framework develop and to continuing to support its success.

Dunottar Avenue is one of three projects which CCG (Scotland) is delivering on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council in Coatbridge, with over 270 homes set to boost the supply of modern, affordable housing in the town in the months and years ahead.
Located in the Shawhead area, the development will comprise 76 houses and cottage flats and 24 apartments, with 11 homes designed for wheelchair users. Each home is being fldelivered using CCG’s advanced construction methods, and will feature zero-emissions heating technologies - including exhaust air source heat pumps from NIBE Energy Systems UK - alongside fire suppression systems.
The wider masterplan will also benefit from the creation of a new multi-games area and play park.
Wider social impact? Of course. As a direct result of the project, CCG has created five jobs and two trade apprenticeships, delivered multiple work placements, and committed £9,000 towards locally based investment.
