Nice wee jump start to get this lad going. Battery and charging system given a full health check to ensure it was just because he’d forgotten to turn something off. Back off on his holiday minimal delay. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,
We got the call for this van that wouldn’t start after a wash. Unfortunately there is a cooling duct right behind the front grill that directed water straight onto the ECU shorting it out. ECU was removed on site and sent away and tested. Found faulty new unit was programmed and reinstalled, all back to running again. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

So this was an interesting call for a Sunday morning call was for a radiator cap that had allegedly been nicked! Quick run to the tool station and something was procured that would fit and act as a replacement as there was no hope on getting one from the manufacturer on a Sunday. Another one successfully back on the road with minimal delay. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Woops not good, routine service and inspection of a customers motor yacht found the start of diesel bug in the boats fuel system. Filters cleaned and flushed. And new filter element inserts fitted, tanks and filters given a healthy dose of diesel bug biocide to stop the problem in its tracks. , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Oh how we do love a wet belt. This one was caught just in the nick of time. 1.2 Psa pure tech found in Citroens, Vauxhall, Peugeot and other Psa group vehicles, belt fitted, oil pump strainer cleaned, rocker cover with integrated crankcase vent valve replaced and new sump fitted.
