Kitchen tiling just completed. White metro tiles with smoke grout

Latest bathroom job complete. Customer wanted to get rid of the bath and change it for a shower enclosure.

I haven’t posted anything for ages but here is the bathroom that I have just finished last week. Complete rip out, which showed rotten floor and water damaged plasterboard walls. I fitted moisture resistant plasterboard around the bath and then tiled a brick pattern style half way up one wall. Tiled fully around the bath. Repaired flooring and the ceiling in the kitchen due to water leaks. New vanity unit with half turn taps. Waste pip removed so that the toilet could sit back on the wall. New flooring and fully decorated.

Decking finally finished . Down four levels, ten steps, meeting the height of paving on the top level and also the lower level, with a turn into the garden at the bottom. Decking steps turned 90 degrees to make them clearly stand out. Wider at the top and getting thinner all the way down. Slight slope falling away from the house to aid water drainage. And finally cut around the tree which holds the washing line. Just before the modern English rainy season. Hope you like.

Update on the decking job. Framework all completed and the steps nearly finished. Now for the long decking lengths at right angles to the steps, this is so the steps are clearly visible and the different levels can be seen easily.

New decking coming on nicely. Pretty complicated to get all the steps in at even intervals but I’ve got the basic shape now. I’m building the decking on four levels with a turn at the bottom. Including steps there is a total of ten levels. More photos to come as the job takes shape.

New bathroom installed. Total transformation from original layout starting with rip out then plastering carried out of walls and ceiling. Pipework position changed and wall built out to fit a new smaller L shaped bath. Wall hung basin and cabinet and full decoration. New flooring and door changed to open on the other side.

Remember the two wardrobes that I built? The customer has kindly sent me a photo now she has decorated them , they look stunning.
