Bunny & Birch

I think this may be my favourite of all time, the twists at the side of the drawers just make it seem so posh!!

After using AI on me (😂) I thought I’d give it a try with the furniture I have lodging in my room!! Let me know if you think I should include these photos in my sale posts, they are staged so much better than I could ever do 🤔

That’s it, well nearly finished, just waiting for a seat cushion but I’m honestly so thrilled & so amazed that my husband can do all of this 😍 He maybe deserves a day off 🤔

I’m having a break from painting, so decided to update my (tiny!) hallway by using a cupboard hubby found at the side of the road & two pine bedside tables. Not finished yet, but I’m thrilled with the dark wood mix of dark oak & a bit of dark mahogany to try to match the colour of the cupboard (it’s also kept him busy in the garage cutting up wood all over Christmas 😳)

So while I’m waiting for my 4th & 5th choice of paper for the firescreen (indecision central here 😂), I thought I would update this tiny table my husband found on the side of the road!

A quick clean & sand of the wood top then two coats of MINT by michelle Time & Space paint then playing around with a new stencil. I am thrilled with the end result but so pleased it is small as I don’t think stencilling is for me 😂

This spoke to me after spotting it in a charity shop (not sure what it was saying 😂) but lots of sanding & filling done before adding paint then decoupage - I may be keeping this if it keeps talking 😂

It’s been a busy couple of weeks but I’ve been determined to finish two of the most stunning pieces of furniture. I’ve really gone outside my normal greys & blacks to embrace mulberry & beige! They are both now staged & measured & will be on sale on fb marketplace 😍

I felt it was a good time to change the name of this page! My dad when he was growing up was known as Bunny by his friends & I wanted to incorporate that history into my page. So out with Re-loved & in with Bunny & Birch 🐇

Really excited how transfers are transforming this console table ….. after sealing all the surfaces I’m planning some black wax onto the legs 😎

Not at work this morning due to pup being poorly 😥 so out with the paintbrush to put a base coat of primer on the next project 🖌️

I know I’ve been quiet lately but half term, then looking after my poorly granddaughter & part time working meant painting took second place!

I have managed to do a little work on this gorgeous table which has been transformed from wood to a warm mulberry colour. I’ve added bobbles on top to match the bobbles in the original design & just adore the bronze guilded feet. Still need to finish with clear wax & black wax round the bobbles & add a touch of bronze guild to each bobble (you can see the difference it makes in the second photo).
