One of my latest upholstery projects—this time, I only received the four seat cushions, not the furniture frame.

The cushions arrived at my workshop looking tired and dated in a plain brown fabric. We chose a fresh, plain upholstery fabric to complement the patterned wallpaper, creating a clean and timeless base.

Once the upholstery was finished, I didn't fully appreciate how striking the transformation would be until the finishing touches were added. A few carefully chosen, eye-catching scatter cushions completely elevated the look and brought the whole design together.

This project is a great example of how important accessories are in interior design. Sometimes it's those final details that turn a simple upholstery job into a beautifully finished space.

Some projects are more than just another job—they become something you're genuinely proud to have been part of.

This church renovation is one of those projects.

Seeing such a beautiful space brought back to life has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm grateful to have played a small part in the transformation alongside a skilled team of tradespeople.

My contribution included crafting bespoke upholstered seat cushions for the pews and giving church chair a complete re-upholstery, carefully balancing comfort, durability, and respect for the character of the building.

There's something special about working on pieces that will be used and appreciated by the community for many years to come. Knowing that people will gather here in comfort for services, weddings, christenings, and celebrations makes the work even more meaningful.

It's projects like this that remind me why I love what I do.

A big thank you to everyone involved—it was a privilege to be part of this renovation, and I'm delighted with the finished result.

Another 2 pieces of vintage chairs in need for complete tidying...cleaning up
Dusty...dirty fillings thrown out and replaced with foam fillers...

These 3 oldies were waiting for their turn for a wee while :D A bit of work involved, fully recovered, seat cushion size fixed, wings padded from in to out, feet resprayed, wooden frame completely sanded to natural look and recovered in costumers fabric :) Also extra scatter cushions made to add in the room for complete look :D
